1. A Centenary History
Author: Esther Anderson
In 1998, Victoria celebrated the centenary of the establishment of two of our oldest national parks. This centenary history was jointly produced by Parks Victoria and the State Library of Victoria as a parks centenary project.

2. Australiandia Land of the Holy Spirit
William Ricketts based his book, Australiandia Land of the Holy Spirit, on the music Finlandia, which gave the defenders of Finland courage and strength. The book features many colour photos and includes the inscriptions from around the sanctuary.

3. Bike Paths Victoria
Australia's best ever selling cycling book, Victoria's Bike Paths Guide has a new edition which has more than 2,800 km of hidden secrets for the cyclist who thinks they know it all.

4. CD-ROM Supplement to Leon Costermans' Native Trees and Shrubs of South-Eastern Australia, 2006
Leon Costermans, author of this well-known book, has produced a CD-ROM which not only updates the taxonomy of the book by explaining changes to some 250 species, but also describes hundreds of additional species, including many of the mroe common ones which are smaller than the books original lower limit of about a metre.

5. Central Region Vicmap Book
Central Region covers Ballarat, Castlemaine, Kilmore, the Upper Yarra area, Wonthaggi and Lorne. The new map book series has been developed by Spatial Vision in partnership with the Victorian Department of Sustainability and Environment and the Country Fire Authority as part of an initiative to make state-wide topographic mapping more widely available throughout Victoria.

6. Discovering Grampians-Gariwerd
The third in the Victorian National Parks Association's popular 'Discovering' series, this is your complete guide to Grampians National Park. Fully illustrated and featuring 14 maps, it describes 48 walks plus activities like rock climbing, fishing, boating and cycling, and covers the natural and human history of the park.

7. Discovering Mount Buffalo
Established in 1898, the same year as Wilsons Promontory National Park, Mount Buffalo has been a Victorian icon for generations. This guidebook, published by the Victorian National Parks Association, is your complete summer and winter guide to the walks, ski touring, flora, fauna and human history of Mount Buffalo.

8. Discovering the Prom
With mountains, forest and wonderful beaches, Wilsons Promontory is one of Victoria's best-loved parks. This 96-page book from the Victorian National Parks Association is your essential guide to the Prom's walking tracks, nature walks, flora, fauna and history.

9. Flora of the Otway Plain & Ranges
Orchids, Irises, Lilies, Grass-Trees, Mat-Rushes and other petaloid Monocotyledons

This beautifully illustrated book is easy to flip through as well as use for identification, making it a great resource for amateur naturalists and students. With an illustrated glossary and explanations of biological plant parts, it can be used as a study tool as well as a field guide.

10. Flowers and Ferns of Morwell National Park
A comprehensive pictorial record of the flowering plants and ferns found in Morwell NP, containing over 380 colour photographs and a complete flora list for the area.

11. Green Over Gold - A Selection of Stories from the Bush
Pat Coupar, long-time member of the Friends of Warrandyte State Park (FOWSP) and editor of their newsletter, has been writing monthly nature articles for the local Warrandyte Diary newspaper for 11 years. Green Over Gold is a collection of 48 of these stories.

12. Melbourne's Great Outdoors
For over a decade this best selling title has been the bible to Melbourne's parks and trails. More than 55,000 copies sold and still in high demand. The only comprehensive 'where to go, what to do' guide of the outdoors has now been completely updated to include the all recent park upgrades and trail extensions around the suburban area. 13. North West Region Vicmap Book
The North West Region Vicmap Book covers Bendigo, Echuca, Swan Hill, Mildura and the Desert country. 17. The Alps in Flower
In this handy guidebook some 180 high country plants are pictured in flower and in colour, with a brief description and location. A must for Alps visitors and wildflower enthusiasts.

18. The Forest of Love
The DVD The Forest of Love was filmed when William Ricketts was 92 years of age by David Bilcock, a friend of William's. The DVD runs for 20 minutes and also features the Lyrebird dancing and mimicking all the birds in the sanctuary.

19. The Grampians in Flower
This guidebook features colour photos and brief descriptions of around 400 of the Grampians' 1000 flowering plants. If you're heading for the wonderful Grampians National Park and, like most visitors, you're interested in wildflowers, it's a book for you.

20. The Mornington Peninsula: Through the eye of a Naturalist
A new book presenting a naturalist's account of his exploration of the natural world of the Mornington Peninsula.
