Advisory Groups
In September 2004 Expressions of Interest were called for community representatives to form Advisory Groups for the following park management plans to be developed during 2004-05:
  • Heathcote-Graytown National Park
  • Chiltern-Mt Pilot National Park and Beechworth Historic Park
  • Warby Ranges State Park

Members of the groups are selected to represent the variety of interests in the community. The Advisory Groups have around 5-6 meetings and operate within agreed terms of reference.

Information on the activities of the groups will be made available through local newspapers, media and this website.

Members of the public are invited to be involved in the planning process in several ways, including attending public workshops and forums, asking questions and providing information on knowledge and/or "wants" related to the parks. To find out more, read the Have Your Say section or go to the Register Your Interest form.
