Friends Groups work on important projects to help conserve and protect our natural environment and to enhance the visitor's experience of parks and reserves. Anyone can become a Friend. Some groups have formal membership, but it is not necessary to belong to a group to join in its activities - visitors are welcome. Joining a Friends Group has many benefits - from having an involvement in conservation, meeting like-minded people and receiving informative newsletters. Friends groups are active in parks across Victoria. Opportunities to establish a new Friends group for one of Victoria's new Marine National Parks or Marine Sanctuaries are available. For more information or assistance with establishing a Friends group visit the Victorian Friends Network website.
