  <description>This wonderful short walk (1km return) takes you through coastal vegetation to the Port Phillip Bay Coastline at Observatory Point. Wander along the beach and enjoy the views to Port Phillip Heads or view the remains of the cattle quarantine jetty built in 1879. </description>

  <description> Cheviot Hill is the highest spot at Point Nepean and affords extensive views. You will see Cheviot Beach, where the vessel Cheviot was wrecked in 1887 and from which former Prime Minister Harold Holt disappeared in 1967 and the rip, where many ships have been wrecked since the early days of European settlement. Along the way learn more about the landscape features, natural vegetation and the areas aboriginal heritage and defence significance. </description>
