Parks Victoria Resource Kits

Parks Victoria has produced a number of 'Resource Kits' for use within schools when studying your natural environment.

Of course we would love you to visit our parks, however, when developing these kits we are conscious of the cost involved travelling to and from locations outside the school environment. It is for this reason that many of our activities can be adapted to the classroom or school grounds.

If you are planning a trip to one of our parks be sure to contact the park staff prior to your visit and make any arrangments to meet with our Rangers or Education Officers well in advance.

Kits

The Marine Mapping Resource Kit has been developed to provide information and opportunities for Victorian students to learn about marine mapping as applied to Victoria's Marine National Parks and Marine Sanctuaries.

The Marine National Parks Resource Kit contains a comprehensive collection of materials about our Marine National Parks system together with lesson ideas for teachers and links to other resources.

The Envrionment Corp Resource Kit has been developed by Parks Victoria in partnership with Greening Australia for use by schools participating in Advance (formerly Victorian Youth Development Program).

The Parks Victoria Resource Kit contains information and activities for primary and secondary levels. Individual Park Guides focus on four key National Parks across Victoria.
