This unit contains background information and activities that will support the following CS&F learning outcomes.

Aims

  • To initiate an understanding by students of the concept of introduced species.
  • To empower students to investigate the effects of introduced species on Australian flora and fauna.
  • To develop an understanding of strategies used by Parks Victoria and other agencies to control introduced species.
  • To encourage students to engage in activities that reduce the impacts of introduced species.
