Key Understandings

Life is interconnected and all living things depend on each other.
Wetland life is made up of a wide variety of plant and animal species.
People have an effect upon the quality of water environments and can take action to improve their health.
Wetlands are indications of catchment health.

Aims

To observe a variety of freshwater and/or estuarine creatures.
To identify reasons why we need to conserve our wetlands.
To explore ways in which the quality of our wetlands can be improved.
