San Remo Bridge – Reduced Air Draught and Navigation Direction for Pipeline Works

Monday 6 May 2024 to Tuesday 10 December 2024

Details:

Mariners are advised of works occurring beneath the San Remo Bridge, 38°31.113’S, 145°21.862’E (WGS84), during the above dates.

The works will be undertaken via a scaffold system secured from the bridge structure. The scaffold will temporarily reduce the air draught under the bridge by approximately 2.5 metres.

The works period will contain four stages progressing the scaffold from East to West, thereby changing the navigable bridge spans as communicated by notice. Refer to Figure 1 for the stage one bridge span closure.

Mariners are notified of the temporarily reduced air draught beneath San Remo Bridge and required to navigate between the open bridge spans marked by lit lateral shapes only.
