Loretta Beliniak from Friends of Organ Pipes National Park

Calling all Friends, young and old

People decide to join a Friends group for all sorts of reasons, whether that be giving back and caring for nature, wanting to connect with their local community, or simply just an excuse to spend more time outside. For Loretta Beliniak, it was a combination of all three that made her want to connect with her local group, Friends of Organ Pipes National Park.

Volunteering kickstarted Kelsey's career in conservation at Wilsons Prom

Wilsons Prom has been a cherished sanctuary for Kelsey Fraser ever since she was little, igniting a passion that led her to dedicate her time to its care as a volunteer with the local Friends group. This commitment helped nurture her connection to the park and later gave her the experience needed to secure a career with Parks Victoria.
