NOTICE OF BOATING ACTIVITY EXCLUSION ZONE
Parks Victoria as the declared
waterway manager for the Yarra River upstream of the Port Waters of the Port of
Melbourne hereby gives notice under section 208(2) of the Marine Safety
Act 2010 (Vic) that all persons and vessels not registered to take
part in the Floating Screen at Petanque Social are prohibited from entering and
remaining in the following waters.
Waters
of the Yarra River – starting upstream approximately 66 metres from King Street
Bridge, extending 22 metres into the River from the Southern Bank and 35 metres
wide along the Southern Bank as marked by 3 exclusion zone buoys at approximate
locations:
· 37°49’19.3”S 144°57'31.6"E
· 37°49’18.9”S 144°57'31.7"E
· 37°49’18.7”S 144°57'32.8"E
The exclusion zone will be in effect
from 7:00am Monday 15 January 2024 to 6:00pm on Tuesday 30 April
2024.
